The main house was built in 1792 and has all the iconic farmhouse hallmarks – thatched roof bookended by classic gables, low wooden lintels across the doorways and deep windowsills by virtue of thick old walls. Joubertsdal remains true to its farm style charm while at the same time offering guests all they need for a comfortable escape. Spend your days lazing by the pool or curled up beside the fireplace. Little Bess, sleeps up to 8 guests in a cozy Cape Dutch style farmhouse. The home conveys a sense of tranquility and luxury with its refreshingly clean and tastefully decorated interior.
The main bedroom and second bedrooms are both furnished with king-size beds, while the third room has a double bed and the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including the added convenience of a coffee machine.
Space for dining is located both inside the house and on the patio, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating around a large and welcoming fireplace. Relax in the pool exclusive for the use of Little Bess guests. The pool is maintained weekly and the house includes a daily cleaning service.

The Main Guesthouse, Neanderhöle, sleeps up to 10 guests. It is furnished with 3 king-size beds, 2 single beds, 2 bunk beds, and 4 bathrooms – 3 with showers and 1 with a bath.
Notable features include an espresso machine, a flattop grill, and a gas oven-stove. It also includes a dishwasher, washing machine, and a tumble dryer. Gather company around the large dining table and enjoy a sumptuous meal by light of the stunning chandelier. The home features a beautifully equipped kitchen where rustic and modern combine to provide a memorable culinary experience.
The lounge area is well appointed with handsome furnishings, ideal for both socializing and late-evening relaxation in front of the plasma TV with DSTV access. Guests are welcome to unwind on the patio and enjoy the refreshing swimming pool or have a braai. The pool is for exclusive use of Neanderhöle guests. It is maintained weekly and the home includes a daily cleaning service.

Joubertsdal, founded in 1792, is one of the oldest farmsteads in the area and is situated along the R60-highway just 17km outside Swellendam, right at the foot of the majestic Langeberg Mountain.
Joubertsdal offers a modern venue for weddings or any special event and accommodates up to 160 guests.
The bridal party and guests will enjoy exclusive use of the entire 300 hectares farm for the duration of your special event.

Our catering at Joubertsdal is done by two wonderful teams, one of which will be appointed to your special day. No outside caterer may be used.
Each couple can choose from a variety of options. We specialise in country style cooking. The food at your wedding promises to be one of the highlights!
Promises to each other and to our Lord are made to be kept here at Joubertsdal.
The Chapel is under the same roof as the venue but has its own private entrance. Seating is available for 160 guests.
