Bordeaux River Cottages are privately situated on the banks of the Breede River, surrounded by orchards and vineyards in the broad Breede River valley.  Only 8 km from mid town Bonnievale, Bordeaux is the ideal start to a day trip to enjoy the good wines from our valley or take a scenic drive to the historic town of Swellendam.

The ideal spot to slip away under your sunhat whilst lazing about on the wooden deck. The occasional plop of a leaping fish provides the only motivation to raise your weary head.

The three cottages, named Merlot, Chardonnay and Shiraz, are privately positioned and sleeps a maximum of 6 guests each.  Cobbled together by rustic wooden planks and boards, the interiors are clad in tongue and groove timber and simply decorated.
Each cottage offers two double rooms, with an additional two single beds in the living room. The bathroom offers a shower, and the kitchen is fully equipped.  Bordeaux Cottages offers indoor & outdoor braai facilties, ideal for any time of the year!

The Breede River offers fishing, swimming, canoeing and abundant bird life.  We are looking forward to welcome you!
